Dr. Ashleigh Callahan Ph.D. joined the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at West Virginia University in 2006. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) in Audiology. Dr. Callahan is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation by the American Institute of Balance. She is a West Virginia native and graduated with a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from WVU. Later, Dr. Callahan obtained a doctorate degree in Clinical Audiology from James Madison University. Her research interests include vestibular function, hearing conservation, and Au.D. curriculum development. She teaches courses in audiologic assessment, audiology communication, amplification, vestibular function/disorders, physiologic measures, and pathologies of the auditory system.
