A total of 120 academic credit hours, including all SPA requirements, is required for the B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. The specific graduation requirements are as follows:
Successful completion of the University General Education
requirements and all other required Pre-SPA courses
Successful completion of 9 additional hours of “supporting area” courses beyond
Successful completion of 49 additional hours of CSAD “major area” courses
beyond pre-SPA requirements;
Successful completion of the minimum clinical practicum requirements; and
Maintenance of an overall GPA of at least 3.00 (A = 4.0) and a cumulative GPA of
at least 3.00 for all courses taken toward the SPA major.
Students must file an online Application for Graduation and Diploma at the beginning of the semester in which they intend to graduate.
