Dr. Vishakha Rawool earned her undergraduate degree in Audiology and Speech Therapy
from Bombay University in India, after which she earned her master's in Speech-Language
Pathology at the University of Texas at El Paso and her Ph.D. at Purdue University.
Her research spans across prevention, screening, diagnosis, and intervention
of hearing difficulties and deficits among all populations including infants to
older adults. She is the recipient of the 2016 Research mentoring-Pair Travel
Award (RMPTA) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), four
American Academy of Audiology (AAA) Scholar awards, and nine Awards for Continuing
Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
