A total of 120 academic credit hours, including all CSD requirements, is required for the B.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The specific graduation requirements are as follows:
Successful completion of the University
requirements and all other required CSD courses;
Successful completion of 9 additional hours of “supporting area” courses beyond CSD requirements;
Successful completion of 49 additional hours of CSAD “major area” courses
beyond CSD requirements;
Successful completion of the minimum clinical practicum requirements; and
Maintenance of an overall GPA of at least 3.00 (A = 4.0) and a cumulative GPA of
at least 3.00 for all courses taken toward the CSD major.
Students must file an online
Application for Graduation and Diploma at the beginning of the semester in which they intend to graduate.
